James Edward Padgett was born August 25, 1852 in Washington D.C. When he became a young man he attended the Polytechnic Academy Institute at Newmarket, Virgina and in 1880 he was admitted to the bar in Washington D.C. where he practiced law for 43 years until his death on March 17, 1923.

His wife Helen died sometime around February 1914. He was grief stricken over her passing and even though he had been raised a strict Methodist, upon hearing of seances being held at a nearby Spiritualist church, he elected to attend one of the meetings. At the meeting, he was told by the medium that his wife was present and wanted him to know that he possessed the gift of automatic writing, and if he tried, she would write a message through him.

Shortly thereafter, Mr. Padgett took pen in hand and much to his surprise, it began moving. From that point on, messages he received came not only from Helen, but members of his own family and friends, as well as a host of Divine Angels of the highest Celestial realms, including the Master himself, Jesus of Nazareth. Unbelievably, Jesus's appearance in this fashion, he stated, was actually his "second coming to earth."

Many people have been told that Jesus will one day appear in the clouds in a materiaized form in which he will call his people to come forth. They do not understand that the Second Coming of Jesus is to be his spiritual form and spiritual teachings. He wrote that his coming in this way would fulfill all the prophesies of the Bible, and it is only man's interpretation of what the true prophesies are.

Through his instrumentality Padgett was able to receive thousands of messages from the Heavenly Hosts of the Spirit World and the Divine Angels of the Celestial Kingdom. We pray that they are watching over us and guiding us from their Celestial Abode in the Father's Kingdom as we move forward sharing their legacy with you.
